Being addicted to something whether it’s drugs, alcohol, or any number of other addictive behavior patterns that dramatically effect or control the way that we live our lives. Addictions usually wreak havoc on our lives and strip away the things that we once loved and can cause so much ruin in our health, relationships, families, and finances.
What is recovery?
Recovery is the action or process of regaining possession or control of something stolen or lost.
Let’s be honest, we’ve lost A LOT in chasing after our addictions. We have testimonies here at Trade Up of people who have lost nearly everything they once had in the name of their addiction. The story has ended there for many whose lives have been taken by their addiction. We don’t want that to be the case for any of you! Addiction is a lie from the enemy because he wants to control your life and your soul and cause as much harm as possible. RECLAIM LIFE in recovery. Let God himself restore to you the HOPE of LIFE.

Recovery looks like finding Hope! Finding Hope in the midst of a world that is deeply hurting doesn’t seem like something that is possible BUT it can be easier than you might think.
Hope is easily attainable in a relationship with God. There is power in starting a relationship with God by way of believing in His Son, Jesus Christ. At TradeUp, we have several trained people who have been in the same situation of addiction and have overcome their struggles in the Power of God and their HOPE has been restored. We want to teach you how to walk in this relationship and how this relationship can help you through the pain, anxiety, fear, and struggles that have caused so many to turn to substance abuse and addiction of many kinds.
