Lead Pastor – J. Dave Adams

Pastor J. Dave Adams has been enthusiastically involved in pastoral ministry for over 25 years. After practicing law for a season, he pursued his passion to help people in their relationship with God by serving in the local church, beginning as assistant pastor to his father, John Adams, in 1996 right here at Wabash Valley. He is grateful for the opportunity to return as pastor of Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church in 2018 after leading a church in Anaheim, California through a process of revitalization. The year 2021 will be Pastor Dave’s 20th year of pastoral ministry at Wabash Valley. He earned a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary (2014) and is currently pursuing a PhD from Talbot Seminary at Biola University. He posts devotions regularly at devotionsontherun.com. Dave is married to Tawnia and they have five children, Makenzie, Abbi, Jonathan Sage, Olivea, and Ruby.

“…with our team of great volunteers, Deacons, and Pastoral team we have here, it is a joy to serve you. All of us seek to serve with the servant leadership of Christ in mind (Mark 10:42-45).
From the standpoint of Family Ministry a large portion of my focus is upon our adult Sunday School and our Community Groups. Our goal in both of these areas is to help families get and stay connected through God’s Word and the fellowship of other believers (Acts 2:42-47) is our aim for fellowship and growth.
In all of our Children’s Ministries our goal is to come along side parents and seek to be an asset and help in the growth of the next generation of believers (Deuteronomy 6:1-8) is our aim. Our volunteers will stand beside you and fight the battles our children face today in our culture because our children are worth the fight (Nehemiah 4:14). Following Jesus and His example in Matthew 19:14, we seek to bring your children closer to Jesus.
It would be an honor and blessing to get to serve you and your family here at Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church, come and see Him (John 1:45-46) is all we ask.” -Pastor Daniel Acord
